The workshops are being offered in collaboration with Independence Care Systems (ICS) and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. Topics will include accessibility required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), self-advocacy techniques, and tax credits and other incentives for businesses that make modifications.
The workshops will take place from 2-4pm on July 17, 24, and 31 at Independence Care Systems, 25 Elm Place, 5th floor, in Downtown Brooklyn. The workshops are free, but space is limited. Please RSVP and include accommodations if needed to BCID (718) 998-300 or gamari@bcid.org or mgodino@bcid.org.
