Professional Women Photographers announces Abandonment, a photography exhibition juried by Amy Arbus opening November 1st at the Powerhouse Arena in Dumbo, Brooklyn. 31 photographers will examine the idea of abandonment, the sense of loneliness and despair, of being left behind in today’s world. The exhibition will also examine the other side of abandonment that comes from surrendering one’s self to something joyous and exhilarating.
