Med School

Graduating from med school was both the happiest and the saddest days of my life, at that point in time. Happy because i had achieved something only a handful of people had. I was always told I was "smart", but what I learned in med school was that determination and hard work was also needed. It was  the saddest day because i knew that tougher days were ahead of me. First and second years of med school - book study with occasional patient contact, scary( don't worry we were our own patients )-all what i expected- THEN came 3rd year med school and bang!I felt like a hot shot-- young ,energetic full of hope and bright ideas. THAT did not last long. After my first day of clinical  I got home and said WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! I hated it and was so tired I slept with my suit on.  3rd Years were assigned to end of life patients DEPRESSING -I felt helpless and useless. After a few days we were rotated to a different word -I found my forte was listening to patients. I seemed to have a knack for directly answering their questions in an understandable way.

This brings me to the point of this entry. Ask me anything  related to ob/gyn and you will get a direct and honest answer -
