Edward Joseph Walsh (87) of North Port Fl. passed away on Saturday January 14th, 2012. Ed and his family were former residents of Maspeth Queens. Ed was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Ed is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Cecelia and was father to Dennis, Buddy and Kathy Walsh. Ed was the beloved grandfather of Kerri, Thom, Shannon. Missy and Shannon and Great Grandfather to Leah, and his brother Robert Walsh. Services were held at McKee Funeral Home in North Port Fl. Ed was laid to rest in Sarasota National Cemetery for Veterans.
